You (Agent/Customer) is responsible for reading the suppliers terms and conditions including booking conditions which are available on request. You agree to abide by the terms or conditions of purchase imposed by any supplier with whom you elect to deal. You understand that any violation of any such suppliers conditions of purchase may result in cancellation of your reservations or purchases, in your being denied access to any hotels, in your forfeiting any monies paid for such reservations or purchases, and Koveli travel Pvt Ltd debiting your account for any costs we incur as a result of such violation. You will be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of your use of this website, and, without limitation, you will be responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of transactions performed by others on your behalf, whether or not such uses were performed with your consent.

With respect to hotel reservations and ground arrangements made directly through this website, your reservation will become confirmed once you paid the total amount due in full OR any required deposits and when we acknowledge receipt of your full payment OR deposit. In some cases an initial non-refundable deposit may be charged.

A booking is accepted only after payment is made according to the payment policy of the supplier which will be notified at the time of booking. (This may be waived solely at our discretion).If the booking is made within 30 days of arrival in Sri Lanka, then full payment is required at the time of confirmation.

Full payment OR the payment of a deposit will indicate an acceptance of these terms and conditions by you.

 

The balance of payment due for Your Travel Arrangements if any must be paid by you not later than 30 days before arrival to Maldives or as per payment policy of the Supplier, Whichever is higher; otherwise we may treat the booking as cancelled.

The price of Your Travel Arrangements is subject to the possibility of changes and surcharges beyond the control of Us and may occur because of governmental action, currency exchange rate fluctuation and increases in suppliers prices as an example. If the price of Your Travel Arrangements is increased by any matters outside our control then you must either pay the additional price to us when we request it or cancel Your Travel Arrangements in accordance with these Booking Conditions.

Cancellation of Your Travel Arrangements by You must be notified to us in advance.

Koveli Travel’s cancellation policy is 48hrs/two working days in addition to the accommodation provider’s and as such may vary per accommodation according to the accommodation provider’s cancellation policy requirements.

Penalties for the cancellation will be according to the cancellation policy of the resort which will be mentioned on the system at the time of your booking.

No refund is available to you for cancellations after commencement of Your Travel Arrangements or on any services not used for any reason.

Information provided by you

All information provided by you should be true and accurate. We will treat it confidentially and not forward it to any third party. We have a strict anti-fraud policy and take responsible steps to protect personal information such as credit card details

Your Credit/Debit card payments are processed via BML Secure Payment Gateway, All communications between Koveli Travel Pvt Ltd & the Maldives Payment Gateway are encrypted using the TLS/SSL protocol. Koveli Travel Pvt Ltd does not collect or store any information regarding your credit or debit card.

The cardholder should retain a copy of payment transaction as a proof of the online payment for Koveli Travel Pvt Ltd.

By agreeing to the terms of this website you are bound by a non-disclosure agreement between Koveli Travel Private Limited, for the purpose of preventing the unauthorized disclosure of Confidential Information as defined below. You agree to enter into a confidential relationship with respect to the disclosure of certain proprietary and confidential information ("Confidential Information").

For purposes of the Agreement, "Confidential Information" shall include all information or material that has or could have commercial value or other utility in the business in which Koveli Travel Private Limited is engaged. If Confidential Information is in written form, You shall label or stamp materials such as rate cards with the word "Confidential" or some similar warning. If Confidential Information is transmitted orally, you shall promptly provide a writing indicating that such oral communication constituted Confidential Information.

Your obligations under the Agreement do not extend to information that is:

(a) publicly known at the time of disclosure or subsequently becomes publicly known through no fault of the Receiving Party.

(b) discovered or created by the Receiving Party before disclosure by Disclosing Party.

(c) learned by the Receiving Party through legitimate means other than from the Disclosing Party or Disclosing Party's representatives.

(d) is disclosed by Receiving Party with Disclosing Party's prior written approval.

You shall hold and maintain the Confidential Information, which is solely you in the strictest confidence for the sole and exclusive benefit of Koveli Travel Private Limited. You shall carefully restrict access to Confidential Information to employees, resorts, hotels, contractors and third parties as is reasonably required and shall require those persons to agree to the non-disclosure restrictions at least as protective as those in the Agreement. You shall not, without prior written approval of Koveli Travel Private Limited, use for your own benefit, publish, copy, or otherwise disclose to others, sharing the rate cards with resorts or hotels to bargain for a better rate or permit the use by others for their benefit or to the detriment of Koveli Travel Private Limited, any Confidential Information. You shall return to Koveli Travel any and all records, notes, and other written, printed, tangible materials or digital materials in its possession pertaining to Confidential Information immediately if Koveli Travel Private Limited requests it in writing.

The nondisclosure provisions of the Agreement shall survive the termination of the Agreement and your upheld duty to hold Confidential Information in confidence shall remain in effect until the Confidential Information no longer qualifies as a trade secret or until Koveli Travel Private Limited sends you written notice releasing you from the Agreement, whichever occurs first.

Nothing contained in the Agreement shall be deemed to constitute either Koveli Travel or you a partner, joint venturer or your employees for any purpose.

If a court finds any provision of the Agreement invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Agreement shall be interpreted so as best to affect the intent of Koveli Travel Private Limited and you.

The Agreement expresses the complete understanding between you and Koveli Travel Private Limited with respect to the subject matter and supersedes all prior proposals, agreements, representations, and understandings. This Agreement may not be amended except in a writing or email by Koveli Travel Private Limited.

The failure to exercise any right provided in the Agreement shall not be a waiver of prior or subsequent rights.
